Summary
It is 1941, during the Blitz. Aziraphale and Crowley share their first, tremulous kiss, and are then abruptly separated. Crowley thinks he knows why, and is both angry and disappointed. But what has happened to Aziraphale is a secret he doesn’t get to hear until a new century is in its teens, and they are both facing the threat of Armageddon.
A canon divergent AU. A story of the steadfastness of true love under duress.

Summary
I wrote this story with the idea of exploring what happens in between the flashbacks and the mini-episodes that go from Edinburgh 1827 to the moment Aziraphale and Crowley meet again in 1967, because there’s a thread that ties them all together, and that thread is holy water.
I wanted to stick to canon as much as possible, but obviously, with the Ineffables I can never quite keep my urge to see them together under control, not even in one-shots, let alone in a long fic. So yes, there’s a completely non-canon love confession, and a period where Aziraphale and Crowley are actually a couple.
Another small non-canon detail: at the beginning of the story, Crowley doesn’t live in Mayfair but in Bloomsbury for plot reasons.
The original Italian title is a common saying whose literal translation would be “Like the devil and holy water.” It refers to two opposite, incompatible things or people that repel each other. Since it’s impossible to translate it faithfully into English, I chose an alternative that conveys the meaning of the original expression, though sadly it loses the reference to holy water. The fic is complete, I’ll be posting one chapter every Sunday.

Summary
Crowley ricomincia a piangere.

It was a well known fact that angels did not dance. But the way Aziraphale looked at him suggested otherwise.

Summary
What happened to Crowley after he was pulled down to Hell in an Edinburgh graveyard in 1827? How did Aziraphale cope with this abrupt and bewildering absence in his life? How did the upheaval of Crowley’s recall to Hell, and its aftermath in the Holy Water fight, almost undo the bond between the angel and the demon?
Through letters sent and unsent, we catch a glimpse of how they floated through the dark blue sky of fate and love for 140 years. We see what they wished to express from their innermost hearts, and how these pleas and hopes had to be recast by the constraints of what they were permitted. Featuring letters from 1851, 1862, 1941, and 1967.
Written for the DIWS (Do It With Style) Strongly Worded Notes epistolary event.

Summary
Mrs Henderson was a short woman with an even shorter temper and one of the few humans Crowley ever bothered to learn by name (though she had begrudgingly accepted “Mrs. H” as a polite compromise). She ran a clean, no-nonsense operation, and soon became Crowley's preferred contact for black market whisky sales.
She didn't know she had employed a literal demon, but if she had known, she wouldn't have cared.
