Cody was tired. It had been a very long day, despite it only starting at around two in the afternoon. Cody didn’t mind his job, he found it quite fun most of the time, but when he has to spend an hour explaining to a customer why they couldn’t trade in their scratched to high hell game disks and outdated console, and then another few hours of explaining to different customers why they couldn’t return a game they had bought in November, when it was now May and they didn’t have their receipt, and on top of that being yelled at over the phone a couple times for not being able to miraculously fix their console or not being able to buy things over the phone, he was tired.

Summary
The beginning of this fic is inspired by Office Space from Psych. Anakin is Shawn, and Ahsoka is Gus. For a while, anyway. This fic is also a dramedy, but when I say the plot got away from me and took some DARK turns, I'm not kidding. But I do still have fun and comedy where I can.
Ahsoka shows up at Padme and Anakin's apartment in the middle of the night, after having discovered the body of a dead senator. Things spiral from there as dark plans are revealed and decisions are made. Many and sundry closets are involved, everyone has a secret, conspiracy is a family affair, sass is frequent and pointed, shade is thrown on the Jedi Order, people are chronically sleep deprived, and things are fixed (and broken).

Summary
Some may think it odd that a flower shop could be run by a Jedi - Luke disagrees.
“Luke,” Luke blurts, all semblance of calm he had been working to maintain gone. He fumbles to tuck some of his hair behind his ear as a distraction before he tries again. “My name is Luke.”
Luke doesn’t tell him he’s the only one that runs the shop with his droid. There’s no need to ask for him, ever, but Luke wants him to.
The Mandalorian nods again. “Thank you.” Then, almost a forced afterthought: “Luke.” After, he’s gone, the bell tinkling over the door and sunlight shining off the polished armor as he steps out.
Luke leans over the counter, stretching to catch a glimpse of the man again before the crowds of Galactic City swallow him from sight.

See, this isn't your normal Star Wars-on-Earth fanfiction. Because they come to OUR Earth. As in, Star Wars is a thing. As in, they are very recognizable as Jedi.
They try to lay low, but it quickly becomes common knowledge. Not to mention Ahsoka begins to take a particular interest in musical theater, and then the twins arrive and get a YouTube channel, and Padmé becomes president of the US, and they're the reason we all ended up with the COVID pandemic.
