It is well known that Shirami Souko is not a huge fan of youkai. In truth, while she doesn't like those that hunt down and eat humans, she can stand the harmless ones; those that would never hurt someone unless provoked.
When she comes face-to-face with those that ARE willing to harm the humans she's become accustomed to, this becomes a challenge. She doesn't know what's going on, nor would she wish this on her worst enemies.

This is the legacy version of "A Metal Flower Never Wilts". I made this fic way back when and now think it's not very good so I'm redoing the entire thing. But the thing is that I don't just want to get rid of the original fic for a few reasons, so I decided to call the original version "Legacy Version" and the new one as just the title of the fic. Hope you like the fic regardless!
