The voice is gentle again, inviting, and Baekhyun feels like he left his mind at the window where he was made to spin and spin all for Chanyeol, only for him, like some resplendent nightmare of bruises and wax and burns. The firm pressure and the pace of the hand that hurts when it strikes but creates reveries on paper and pleasures in his skin, the voice that yells and fills itself with violence but hums and sings in the air like a seraph when he thinks no one is listening, coaxes him to say yes because Chanyeol feels good and because underneath the layers of rot and corruption something that feels like this to each of his senses can't be bad. Baekhyun nods as much as he can with Chanyeol's hand around this throat because somewhere it makes sense and somewhere he understands.
