Summary
Michelle is a convenience store worker who feels like her life is going nowhere. She still isn't over her ex, and her eclectic group of friends in a cosy London borough all seem to be doing better than her. Everything is turned upside down when a demon called The Duchess arrives in her dreams, giving Michelle three days to fall in love her or face dire consequences. Michelle is cursed with a Third Eye, which allows her to navigate a hellish parallel world filled with celestial beings and monsters alike. She soon discovers that nothing in her neighbourhood is what it seems, including her best friend Robyn, who is determined to help Michelle break the curse. As her dynamic with The Duchess becomes more complicated, she finds herself caught between a clash of demons and angels - and half of them want her dead.
A novelisation of the video game Sorry We're Closed for people who would love to explore the characters, experience a streamlined story, or just prefer a narrative style. Small changes are made to adapt the story from game to book!
