Summary
For weeks, the Chimera's halls have thrummed with a silent, searing tension. Blade watches Sai with a hunter's focus that has nothing to do with combat. Sai studies Blade with a warrior's curiosity that's turning into something far more dangerous. Frankly, Cloak and Dagger are tired of it.
A setup leads to a spar, a spar leads to a fall, and a fall leads to a charged silence thicker than any shadow. It's a dance of stolen glances and unspoken words, until a late-night encounter in the ship's onsen leaves no room for words at all.
