The episode where a "surfer boy" appears in Dexter's Laboratory is titled "Sun, Surf, and Science". In this episode, Mandark tries to impress Dee Dee by participating in a surfing competition to beat a surfer boy she is interested in. He sets traps and tries to modify his surfboard but ultimately ends up being saved by the surfer boy.
