She stepped forward and met his gaze. "May I?" Syzoth glanced to the side and paused before nodding. He felt his face warm as Ashrah reached forward and gently fastened the badge to his vest. "There, perfect."

For the past half a year after the Armageddon fight, Syzoth found himself as Outworld's emissary and being welcomed again to his home, the Zaterrans. But due to the amount of stress and pressure it has been, Syzoth needed to get away, maybe just Outworld in general. Not sure where, until Tomas offered him to stay with the Shirai Ryu for a while. However, they grow close together and fall in love.
Enjoying his time with Tomas, Syzoth stayed at the Shirai Ryu longer than he needed, even forgetting all the things he faced in Outworld. Did he stay longer just to get a break from the emissary role, or did he stay spending it with the man he holds dear to? Seems that it was worth the moment.

Bi-Han awakes in a dingy cell, tied up and drugged. With no idea where he is or why, he starts to freak out. But soon enough a man appears, someone he is not familiar with. He introduces himself as Shang Tsung, giving Bi-Han an offer he can hardly refuse. Allow the sorcerer to experiment on him and in exchange Bi-Han can become an invincible warrior, one that possesses powers beyond what he thought to be possible.
Bi-Han would be an idiot to accept, but also if he refused. The idea of incredible power at his disposal clouds his judgement, making him take Shang up on his offer, ignoring how reckless that really is.
