What happens though when years later Bilbo is called back to Erebor by the other half of his soul? Would Bilbo be able to move past what happened then or is the bond broken forever?

This is an alternate beginning to how I wanted to start my main story.
In this one, the Company all go back to Bag End to help Thorin confess his feelings for Bilbo. Although, Bilbo is still dealing with what happened between them on the ramparts. In addition, Bilbo now has two new family members in Kili, an injured dwarf he had stumbled upon in the forest, and Frodo, the orphan of his dear deceased cousins. Everything becomes a little more complicating.
