There is an invisible magic circle in the world, one that Elsa draws around herself to keep Anna out. Or so Anna felt, and so she left to spend the summer by the sea with relatives she had never met. There, she meets a mysterious girl who lives in a mansion on the shore. Her friendship with her reveals secrets that may just give Anna the way to break through Elsa's "magic circle."
Inspired by When Marnie Was There, a recasting leaning slightly more on the novel by Joan G Robinson than the Studio Ghibli anime, but heavily influenced by the wistful mood of the Ghibli movie.

It is 1905 and the British-German naval arms race is full steam ahead. Germany is hunting for a rebuttal - and what better way, what easier way than to steal the Dreadnought plans from under British noses and scupper the ship before she can be built?
The British Ministry of Magic lends its best agent, Albus Dumbledore, to His Majesty's Government to counteract the threat of German magical agents sent from Berlin. His brief is simple: protect the Dreadnought, at all costs.
Germany have their own weapons up their sleeve, but it seems they may not need them when Albus' head is turned by a chance meeting at his former professor's garden party with a student named Gellert Grindelwald, over in England on a year abroad from Heidelberg university.
It's a perfectly charming whirlwind romance - at least, at first.
