In the months following the defeat of the Aparoids, Krystal continues to relish her new life with Star Fox. However, her joy may not last as she discovers evidence that Fox might potentially be booting her from the team. Before Krystal can hope to get answers and confront Fox about this, she and the rest of the team are called away to answer a ship's distress call over the planet Venom. Unbeknownst to any of them, the ship holds a foreboding secret that Krystal falls victim to, as she unwittingly gets slung across the dimensions and maroons in a world of tyranny and hopelessness.

Thrown into a train station with no recollection of her true history, 18-year-old Violet Rose accompanies her boyfriend, Aiden Calhoun, as they must navigate through City 17 armed only with sheer determination, adrenaline, a katana, a scythe, and a Snark as their pet. However, Violet quickly discovers that this reality contrasts deeply with the games she played during the False Reality imposed by the G-man. It's not solely the Combine and the Internal Peace Corperation she has to confront; they've allied with a faction once thought to be extinct.

With communications completely severed and surrounded by the Resistance on all sides, Scalpel begrudgingly takes him on as the newest member of his squad.
Jury's got big shoes to fill, and very small feet.

This originally started as just a chatfic but, as usual, I got very ambitious. Thankfully I didn't turn a one-chapter story into four like my, erm, other ongoing work (I swear I'm still working on it). If you like how the Combine speak, you'll like this fic.

Rae, formerly Orla, must hold out and come up with a plan in the scheming shadows of Bauer if she wants any chance of seeing her world and family again, all while continuing to work for Claire, and realizing they have a much deeper connection than she initially thought.
In Panama, Dr. Gustavo Freeman comes face to face with Melia Francois, Claire's long-deceased mother, whilst also facing evidence of string theory, and the yet-unknown to them threat of the Combine Empire that is now aware of Earth's existence. But the former Marine’s mind isn’t just on rescuing Alyx, for he has another person dear to him to save: his younger sister, Michelle Shephard, whom he last saw over five years ago.
But saving Michelle from the Combine will not be easy - not least because she is one of them.
