Story about Splinter's childhood. In this story you will get to see Splinter when he was a child, teenager, and young adult and the similarities he shares with his five children.
You will get to meet Splinter's parents, Hamato Yuuta and Hamato Atsuko, other possible siblings, that aren't OCs but other characters I found on a TMNT website, friends, and the relationship he shares with each of them.
You get to see what Shredder was like when he was a kid and how he gained the jealousy and hatred towards Splinter.
You get to see Tang Shen and the possibility similarity she shares with Karai and the turtles as well. You get to see the love triangle with her, Yoshi, and Saki.
You basically get to see it all!
Pulse bonus after Splinter's death and the struggles. How the turtles start to fall and how Karai struggled with identity crisis and how they all got to meet their family in Japan.

Summary
After defeating Kavaxas and Savanti Romero (again), the turtles go home and try to go back to a form of “normalcy”. Unfortunately, a shadowy branch of the U.S. government has been investigating New York as the beacon of mutants, time masters, demodragons, and aliens. With the turtles hunted down and placed in a covert max security facility, all “normalcy” is thrown out the window. Now the goal is to escape, and the government isn’t letting them go without a fight. To make things even more complicated, one of the inmates has vengeance on the agenda and if you're not with them, you're against them.
Season 5 seemed to have more filler arcs than actual plot. Retconning the 1987 arcs, the When Worlds Collide arc, the Edo arc, and ignoring the Apocalypse arc, I am introducing a plot arc of real world consequences from the spectacular adventures of the turtles. Alternatively, the reader could see this as a setting that takes place before the aforementioned arcs but after the Demodragon arc. This also touches a bit more on death, and the effects of which on the characters.
