On the day she was created, when she opened her eyes for very first time, the first thing Rebecha saw was Irving. And that was enough to get attached. Like when a duckling hatches from its egg and sees its parent for the first time.
Maybe it also probably had to do with the fact that he showed her around the Gameworks, and that he taught her how to fight. He actually taught her almost everything.
She actually liked fighting back in the very early Combat Arena days, and even looked up to him and wanted to make him proud of her.
But thinking about it now, she realized how blind and naive she used to be. But she was new to the world, so it wouldn’t even cross her mind that Irving never actually cared about her. Or anyone else.
