I’ll kill you and everyone you love. I’ll kill you dead.
Peter closes his eyes to keep the world from spinning. His panic sits like putty in his throat, blocking the air from reaching his lungs. He wraps his fingers around his neck, his pulse erratic underneath like he had just finished running a mile.
Come on Peter. Come on Spider-Man.

Summary
Tonight I shall speak of six teenagers, whose tales ended abruptly on a roller coaster in a small, Canadian town in the middle of nowhere: the former Saint Cassian Chamber Choir, who on Monday, September 14th, would board the Cyclone roller coaster at 6:17 PM. At 6:19, this same roller coaster’s front axle would break, causing it to derail at the apex of the loop-de-loop, hurtling the children to their deaths.
Tonight, I conjure the Saint Cassian Chamber Choir, who, an hour before their deaths, participated in a singing competition in the Uranium City Band Show.

Summary
Jason wasn’t religious. So why was it, while he was bleeding all over the place and wrestling with a locked door to escape a bomb, that all he could think about was Abraham and Isaac?
(Why didn’t Abraham fight for his son’s life? Why did he agree to end it so easily? Did Isaac carry that knowledge, that bitterness, with him until his dying days? Did he pass it to his sons, and then his sons to theirs? Why did Jason come to Ethiopia? Was he the descendant, a part of a never-ending cycle, bound to be destroyed by a parent who felt nothing but contempt toward him?)
