A race for a tree, steeped in about as much tradition as a very weak cup of tea. You race, you claim a tree, and then you bring it to the Nest for decorating.
The Killjoys have never had a chance to participate in the Drive for the Tree, but this year will be their year. Hopefully.

The story starts in 2023—about four years since the ultimate wipeout of BLI vs The Fabulous Four. Or what would have been? The Fabulous Four were moments away from being exterminated by BLI. The last moment before, was as if the sky opened up, and all hope was restored for our tough fabulous killjoys. And they won. You would think this brought them a true future of fabulous lives. No Draculoids to be revised in the city, No C/R/O/W units to circle the zones in security. But how are the Fabulous Killjoys gonna save Battery City if there are no enemies to save the utopia from? How could the Fabulous Killjoys, continue to be Killjoys?
