AP English Literature essays are hard. But Tim Drake is harder. Jason Todd can survive Gotham, but can he survive Thursday nights with the one person who makes him want to forget everything else?
Alternative Summary: Jason Todd hopes to complete his high school diploma with Tim Drake’s wonderful help. Tim tutors him so he can handle the curriculum, and Jason works toward getting into university.

Summary
Damian is well aware that the current living situation he has found himself in does not require him to constantly be on guard to survive. He knows he doesn’t have to pretend to be someone else to be safe and loved. (He does it anyways. It’s a defense mechanism, sue him.)
Tim Drake knows none of this (yes he does), and shows up to all the right places at all the wrong times.The one time Damian lets his guard down, he and Tim get ambushed and captured. They are forced to helplessly watch each other endure copious amounts of pain (mostly Tim bc I love bullying him). They need to work together to survive this.
Or: Damian cant seem to ever say the right thing. His family is upset with him. He thinks this means they hate him. (They don’t.) Tim, in good conscience, can’t let Damian wallow in his dramatic pre-teen feelings alone. They end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Right as Damian is about to talk about his feelings, BOOM they get kidnapped. The brothers are forced to brother for the first time, and feel a lot of feelings (and pain), and try to survive together long enough to be rescued.
Maybe they do, maybe they don’t.
Bruce gains so many gray hairs.

When Jason gets hit with Ivy's pollen and starts feeling the effects, he thinks nothing of it. It's just some cuddle pollen, after all. So what if it's making him feel hot all over instead of cold? He could handle it.
And when he wakes up the next morning to find his Replacement in his living room, wrapped up in his couch blankets from neck to toe and looking at him with something... something like betrayal shining in his eyes? Jason does the only think his pit-addled brain can think to do: He screams at the kid, tells him that whatever the fuck made him look at Jason like that was his own damn fault, and orders him to get the fuck out of Jason's goddamn apartment before he does something he'd actually regret.
... It's not like anything that bad could've happened, anyways. It'd just been some cuddle-pollen, right?

Tim wasn't part of the Bat family. Well, not really anyway. With Bruce's return from the time-stream, Damian's acceptance into the family, and Jason still lurking around - Tim's role has morphed to one of a glorified secretary.
He convinced himself that it was okay. That it was what he deserved - after all, he did stalk his way into their lives, he couldn't expect much from people who never really wanted him in the first place. But when his eighteenth goes ignored, and the people he thought he knew show him just how much he was worth to them - a fat zero - Tim decides it's time for a fresh start.
Packing his things, he takes off to Central City, hoping to find peace and rest in a place where no one knows him as the Replacement or the stalker, but just Tim, the genius young man with a bright future as an investigator - and new member of Team Flash.
But will his family miss him? Will he find acceptance in his new role? Or will Tim find a new destiny entirely?

Tim was a lonely kid, and there was only so much to do in an empty house filled with everything but the warmth of living bodies. So when his parents bring back an ancient book that they can’t read from one of their expeditions, Tim asks if he can have it. Unlike with the more fragile and expensive artifacts, they decided to humor him without thinking much on it. He very quickly finds out that the book is in fact an occult grimoire. Now, Tim was generally considered very smart for his age, a genius even. But he was still 10, and he was very curious to see if this book was real. One ritual and one demon later he makes a wager, if the demon can beat him at a game of cards he can take his soul, but if Tim wins then he gets 5 extra years of life. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and the demons at least provided him some entertainment. Now Tim is 17. He’s been 17 for a long time, not that anyone seems to notice his lack of aging.

Actually, he respected the hell out of him. Tim had survived the cowl, the League, the Titans, Bruce, and a literal time collapse. And somehow, he still got up in the morning. Still fought like he had something to prove.
Jason understood that. Too well.
