She said yes because someone had to. The idea of it falling into the wrong hands had kept her up at night more than once, and if anyone could be trusted with it, it ought to be her.
She told herself it would be something she could manage in the evenings, in between meetings and field reports. Nothing too demanding.
She didn’t expect to find herself working as an Unspeakable in Greece barely two months later.
Nor did she expect to keep running into Draco bloody Malfoy, always showing up where she was meant to be.
