Summary
Dan Heng and Caelus have left the Astral Express crew and made their way down to Amphoreus, and everything immediately starts to go wrong. When they finally reach a semblance of safety and Dan Heng thinks he can start to relax, new nightmares invade his sleep, rendering him restless and exhausted. As long as Caelus is safe and doesn't notice, though, Dan Heng convinces himself he can just ignore it, that it's no different than the nightmares he's had before. Even if they do leave him with a strange, longing feeling for a few moments after waking. Unfortunately for him, his nightmares have a different plan. It doesn't help that his Nameless companion is far more observant than he's let on, and has definitely noticed a shift in how his best friend acts. And the need to know what's up is eating at him.
Will either of them ever realize how they feel before it's too late?

"Caelus."
An edge to his voice, uneasiness tinged into it. A tone Caelus immediately caught but just smiled in reply, stepping back silently to intertwine their hands together. Dan Heng's eyes following Caelus's every step— each detail engraved into his mind as he unknowingly eases into it.
"I'm here. Isn't it the duty of us Trailblazers to always journey forward?" Caelus smiles, holding up their intertwined hands up to show Dan Heng, "You'll save me like you always do."
The re-telling of the story of how our beloved Trailblazers ended up getting tangled up in a dying world called— Amphoreus.
Follows the occurrences of the canon plot line with just few moments and instances of my indulgent ideas because I cannot help but want to add some moments of recluse amidst all the chaos and bloodshed. It's entirely an indulgent fantasy but also a way of me coping all that is going on in the story.

It felt like those memories had turned into sand, there one moment, and slipping through her fingers the next. And as she returned to her senses, she could feel someone put a hand on her shoulder. But instead of telling the others, she elects to keep it to herself, not wanting to worry them. Moreover, she has plans with a certain Stellaron Hunter she wants to carry out before anything else, surely things won't go too badly.

It was very rare that someone like Caelus got angry. Learning that Bronya may have been taken as a child by Cocolia, who went cuckoo crazy? Upsetting. Tingyuin? Upsetting, but beating Phantylia’s face in was therapeutic.
Even when it came to Ruan Mei or the Simulated Universe chaos, there was never anything able to truly make Caelus mad. So whatever he was feeling right now, whatever this sudden pool of rage and hatred that just swelled inside him? It was nothing like those times.

Castorice wondered what was Aglaea thinking that day, when she told her to simply take a walk along the streets of Okhema. As if Castorice could do such a thing without the looming threat of death hanging over every citizen's head due to her mere presence.
And yet, Aglaea insisted on Castorice taking a break. So just in order to not be rude (and to make her stop nagging her), she decided to listen and set off to see the sites... as if. She was quick to leap into the highest rooftops, far away from any people that may be in danger of her proximity.
