He slowly blinks, trying to agree to the signal. That was him. That he knew. He focused harder, the figure coming into view better. His immediate reaction was to be afraid at the sight—a red eye staring back at him, the other impossibly black. The teeth hardly made sense. Was this a ghost? A monster?
But then he spoke.“I’m glad you’re awake… you’re going to be alright now, Sam.”
A Cyborg comes across a body, moments after the man had been slain. He was surprised to have recognized the man and in a split second decision, he brings the corpse across the state of Colorado and works to revive him.
