There's always that one character that isn't really well-liked in a fandom. Because of their personality, choices, attitude, they weren't seen in a very favorable light. One such example was Eridan Ampora, from the webcomic Homestuck. It's been a while since he had read Homestuck but he never really hated Eridan, in fact he found him okay, so did a lot of fans.
That doesn't mean he was okay with being shoved into his body during his first molt! He was human, not a troll! The culture, the society of Alternia is fucking horrible and he clearly didn't belong here! Unfortunately he doesn't think he can do anything about it, he couldn't remember what happened to him, he can't even remember personal details of hisold life like his name.
Fuck it. If he was going to be Eridan Ampora, then fine. He'll take matters into his own hands, make his own choices, decisions and opinions. Canon can go fuck itself.
If only it were that easy… There's only so much one person can try to change, especially as Eridan Ampora. Or any other Ampora.

BREAKING NEWS: TEEN FLEES PSYCHOPATHS
After four years imprisonment, John Egbert, 17, has escaped his serial killer kidnappers. Taken from his bed April 13, 2012, Egbert has been at the mercy of two brothers, Dirk and Dave Strider, now ages 34 and 17, in a deserted hotel on the outskirts of a small Texas town.
As of now Egbert stands as the lone survivor of the mass murders. However, the young man’s mental health is put into question on how useful he will be to the prosecution as several sources suggest Stockholm Syndrome is at hand.

A half-finished badfic and spinoff to Housestuck Hurrcain Crconikals, almost certainly getting rebooted, and may have a final "outline" chapter explaining what would have happened. One chapter of HHC had the characters going back in time; this is set after the timeline split, where they don't go to the present and stay in the past with their ancestors/guardians.
This is an incredibly messy jokefic back from 2017, I don't remember much about it and I'm currently too ashamed to look back at it. It's mostly being ported for completion's sake. Reading HHC is required to understand this I think, and I personally wouldn't recommend reading this (or HHC).

You think, by far, the worst part about this whole thing is you are 100% certain you’re innocent and you can either live there by the skin of your teeth or try to escape.

Yet another old badfic port from FFN, and this was a spinoff of Hecksing Ulumate Crconikals. Basically, aged-up human and troll players go against the Felt, and go on a long and extremely messy journey filled with stupid crap as they repeatedly get sidetracked from fighting the Felt. This was a massive spitball shitpost thing that I'm pretty ashamed of, and went with a lot of dumb grossout shock humor that I don't even really remember.
This is ported over for archival purposes, it's an old shame now. I highly recommend not reading it, but if you're in to this sort of thing, whatever. I personally don't think it will make an enjoyable read at least.
Oh, and trust me, I believe tagging all 24 trolls and 8 humans is necessary. I don't like tagging minor characters who are only mentioned, but I think this story gives all 32 of those characters at least a decent amount of screentime. So yeah, there's also a mega ton of characters. I haven't even tagged any of the gazillions of crossover ones.

Marilynn, the Maid’s champion, has always been a tool. Her alignment does not define her, and she wants to prove that. She just doesn’t happen to know anything about how her wielder uses her.
Camasene, the sharpened edge of the blade, is determined to prove the game wrong and keep Marilynn from reality.
Corbin, the Keeper of the game, is determined to, for once, get it right.
