One day, they find each other again and decide to catch up. But it’s spring, and old feelings begin to bubble to the top. -

Compared to most people, it was generally a breeze for Shouyo getting through airport security. If he was traveling for work, his manager was there to flaunt his VIP status and get him to the front of the line. And there weren’t many redheaded pro volleyball players in Japan, so verifying his identity was also easy as pie and negated his chances of getting selected for random screening. Bonus if the security agents were fans.
But throw the fact that he was traveling for personal reasons and a screaming toddler into the mix, and all of that went out the window.

"The one attached to the end of the pick." "Stegosaurus." Kageyama and Tsukishima answered at the same time, the taller seemingly caught in a trance. Pin-drop silence filled the bathhouse sans the sound of running water, then Hinata howled, "Well, don't just stand there! Do something!"

… Who’s Tsukki?
I looked around the court on our side to see who that was. Then I spotted him. Tall, blonde hair, sports glasses. Number 11 in bright white on his jersey. He seemed pretty noticeable for some guy I’d never seen before. Maybe he was the one newbie I hadn’t heard of. It was his turn to serve and he stood confidently in the back of the court with his posture perfect and his head held high as he served – and boy, did he serve. He looked so graceful and calm when he served, and he was quick and agile when he needed to get to the ball quickly. The other team ended up scoring the point, and before I knew it, a couple more rotations went through.

You first spotted him at a volleyball game that your friends, Daichi and Sugawara, had dragged you to. He didn't seem like he was trying to stand out too much, but the way he moved around on the court had you mesmerized. Tsukishima gave him a confused look. The little guy was obviously at a disadvantage. He was smaller than Hinata, probably around 5’2”.
The thief chuckled again “Look behind you.”
Tsukki’s blood froze when he turned around. Three bulky guys were standing behind him with bats in their hands.
He looked back at the little guy. There was a huge grin on his face.
This was the last thing Kei saw before he felt an explosion of pain on the back of his head.
