Summary
The Wars between the Aesir and the Vanir lasted for centuries and made a lot of victims. To insure peace, Odin decides to crush the Vanir Royal line, executes Njord and his son Freyr, and sells Freya as a courtesan. Years later, some of Freya’s daughters have followed their mother’s path, except for Sigyn, who still hopes the Queen’s protection could save her from a life she does not want. But the King refuses to give any kind of hope to the Vanir. If Sigyn wants to remain at the palace, it will be as a servant…

However the Kains have always been a peculiar bunch, and their family library reflects this, and just as many of the people and ideas within the Kain family have been known to lead to danger and disaster, so do some of their books, and one book in particular contains a very peculiar kind of danger. One that Danil Dankovsky now finds himself unable to put down. The Star in Red is rising once again. Can Danil be saved before it is too late?

Summary
It is obvious that Var does not like Rapunzel and her friends given their history, he never forgave her like his partner did.
However when the group goes on an camping trip and Varian gets kidnapped by Cassandra and the ghost girl.
Var and Rapunzel have to team up to save him.
They have 2 different personality.
Varian is sweet, kind, understanding and everything he is in season 3.
Var is bitter, sarcastic, vengeful. And basically the personality he has from the end of season 1.
Of course he has an huge soft spot for Varian :).

The Adventures of Loki and Sigyn in Midgard as told to Bragi the Skald by Sir Anthony Stark, or: In which, Loki tries to figure out redemption, Sigyn tries figure out how to protect her husband, Thor tries to figure out the toaster oven, and Tony Stark tries to figure out how he got into this mess in the first place.
This fic is not canon to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Universe Earth-616 or Norse mythology, but it will beg, borrow, steal and bastardize from all three from time to time. After all, if the Poetic Edda says the first Frost Giant was licked into existence by a primeval cow and there’s an alt-Marvel universe where Captain America fights Nazi zombies alongside Howard the Duck, I should be able to do what I want.
