This is a self-indulgent Watership Down story that blends concepts from the book, movie and 2018 mini series, as well as my own ideas and chatacter moments.
This was heavily inspired by fhe 2018 MS and my desire to rewrite certain plot lines divulged into this! There will be heavy focus on Efrafa in this story, including the suffering the rabbits (doe's in particular) are forced to endure. As well as the characters and their dynamics with one another.

Summary
Understanding the destruction of Efrafa as a terrible betrayal by Hazel’s warren, Campion cuts ties with Watership Down. Amidst surviving the wilderness and a tenuous alliance with Vervain, he is haunted by visions from the Black Rabbit that the General may be alive after all—visions that ask him to destroy the one he gave his life to.
Vervain, fleeing the destruction of Efrafa and absent the protection of the General, is forced to rely on Campion of all rabbits for survival. And as if having to depend on his nemesis wasn’t enough, the two of them become entangled with the cutthroat Darkhaven warren.

Summary
For as long as Hazel could remember, it was him and his little brother Fiver, looking out for him, for as long as they had been Borrowers.
Living in their large colony, Sandleford, things were okay for them; aside from the ridiculous rules, such as certain food being reserved for their Owsla.
But one day, Fiver, who has always been sensitive in a way Hazel cannot understand, has a horrid vision of something horrible coming to their colony, destroying everything in their wake. Knowing his brother to be right about his dreams, they alert their Head Borrower, only to be shunned.
With no other choice, Hazel and Fiver gather any borrowers to them and leave their Coloney and survive. Joined by many friends and unusual allies, the group leaves their Colony and sets out for their new home.
