The pain, the way it had felt to die, seemed as though it had just been plucked from nerves still recoiling in its absence. It was always going to end this way, for me. There really never was any other option.
It’s not the logical solution to my problems, but it’s the only solution left.
I won’t bore you with an explanation of everything I’ve tried to fix it- the meds, the therapy- but I will tell you that I did try. You have to believe that I tried, because if even you didn’t believe me I don’t know what I would do.

Back at it again at crispy creme, this time writing whumptober prompts for the Hunger Games! Or, uh, more specifically, for my Hunger Games fanfiction. There's all sorts of different scenes around the different prompts to be had this month, so I hope you enjoy it! There's also plenty of OC work as always, particularly taking OC's from my main work 'Everyone Is Fighting To Get You Home'; you can certainly pick and choose chapters if you haven't read that one but the scenes may make more sense if you've read that one first.
The way my tagging of whumptober works is I will put in the tags which prompts I've used, and tag characters ONLY if they're the main focal point of at least ONE chapter in the work, then in the summary for each seperate chapter I will tag all the characters that appear/are mentioned and all major or minor warnings. I would heed them, it's going to get rough.
