Summary
Yoda is set in his ways, and death only cements it.
The promised afterlife does not contain his long-lost, long-longed-for parent, and the other Jedi are mad – or madder – at him when they find out about this bit of attachment. There is no place for him here, they say, and he agrees. And, the next time he knows, he is a little one again, actually in the age and last garb of when he was forcefully parted from his parent.
And, beside him, sits a very scared youngling of his own kind.

Summary
“Master?” Dooku says, eyes on the official. “I think I said something... wrong.”
“Then, apologise, you should.”
“Yes, master,” Dooku nods.
But no other words are exchanged, strained silence grows.
“Master?” Dooku calls out again, even more embarrassed, this time. “I... I don't know how to.”
It is ludicrous—not learning how to apologise while learning a language, yes, this is Yoda's padawan.
or
"I had a vision, master," an admission comes, "You were in your deathbed, a swamp planet like this one, it was my fault--"
or
Yoda & Dooku mission fic with more foreshadowing than necessary, debates over life, universe, and everything, angst but also some humour. -

Summary
His gaze lowered, fixed on Anakin's hands. Snapping life was easy, too easy, especially when one was right. That hands, which killed someone, a particular someone, now clenched on his lap, and... it was too ludicrous.
Because that particular person also had sat there, in front of him. Many times.
or
Yoda offers advice to Anakin, whom killed his padawan, about attachment and letting go. There is an inherent and bitter comedy at the situation, he has to admit.
