Why was Ace so good at this? Lips against lips, Deuce felt clumsy when they kissed, but Ace seemed to guide him. Relying on Ace’s experience was both infuriating and calming in a way. Deuce climbed over Ace, hands nervously holding Ace’s ribs as they kissed, how he could not only feel the fabric of their school uniforms, but underneath there was that squish of skin, and the outline of hard bones. He could even feel the vibrations of Ace’s heartbeat deep in that ribcage.
