Summary
Of a child who was once a man, and a man who was once a child.
Killian Jones is trapped in Neverland with a shadow and a man-child who doesn't know how to be a man or a child.
Pan is a lonely, broken thing, twisted by the Shadow, and poisoned by the unfettered power within him. As a man, he could never figure out who he really was, and now as a child he fights hard to hold onto what he thinks he is and can be, but somewhere under all that fantasy and bravado and anger, he's as much of a lost boy as any of the children on the island.
It is easy to seduce children into worship, into loving a childlike god, and surrendering themselves to unconditional loyalty, but a man is more discerning; he knows fear and pain and betrayal, and he knows the faces of love and hate too well to give anything of himself freely.
