There are terrible books, then there is Fifty Shades of Gray, and then there is Love On Ice. Sometimes Yuuri feels that homicide should be legal, actually, because people like hotSexysk8erBoi exist and they write things like Love On Ice, which then proceeds to become the most popular webnovel on the Internet, even though it is quite literally the worst piece of literature known to man.
But, anyway, Yuuri is allowed to say this because he has bought and read every single chapter so he does know what he’s talking about and everyone who says his forum posts are too long and that he should go outside to touch grass can go to hell. Victor Nikiforov, his favorite character and the golden-fingered protagonist, is suffering at the hands of the world’s shittiest writer. Ignoring the unnecessary and numerous sexy scenes for the reader’s gratification, what was all this pointless angst too? Victor deserves better!
Then he transmigrates into the novel’s scum villain, Katsuki Yuuri, who’s apparently meant to drive himself to an early retirement via a career-ending injury. Terrific! And on top of that, he’s also supposed to somehow make Victor fall back in love with skating? Only... what's with all this canon divergence???

Uncertainty became confusion that turned to tension which led to hate. They say hate is a big word, but for those two, hate was not big enough to describe what they felt for each other. At least that what they believed the other thought. As it turns out, assumptions also lead to misunderstanding. That was what their life became, a series of uncertain, confusing, misunderstandings that made them wary of each other.

Katsuki Yuuri is an okay skater with a few fans, none of which he’s made a significant impact on. Or so he thought. When he finds out he has fan mail, he is skeptical but it ends up changing his season. He has people who look up to him and are rooting for him. He can’t let them down.
And when he receives a nice passive aggressive letter from a teenager in Russia, he never imagined he would gain a friend out of it.
Yuri Plisetsky was not expected a response when he wrote a letter to his favorite skater. He just had to tell him that his skating was good and he better up the difficulty before Yuri kicked his ass in seniors.
But Yuuri responded and wanted him to write back, in fact they kept writing letters back and forth. He was becoming friends with his idol.
And somehow Yuuri had gotten him to sympathize with the silver haired idiot. Maybe Viktor was more sad then he let on...
This season was going to be different, skating, friends, relationships, and family.

Russia was not a part of those plans; then again, neither was Yuri, stretching out his hand, leading Yuuri to a new life he thought was beyond his reach, but that he wouldn't give up for anything else.
And the living legend? Still there, still too infatuated to do much.
