Summary
Clark and Bruce are both weirdos about one another, they just express it in different ways. Clark listens to Bruce's heart beat all of the time but also the blood in his body. He loves Bruce's smell, and enjoys watching his brain work. Bruce though, likes to study Clark's biology and take biological samples whenever he can to test them in secret.

“Clark,” Bruce murmured, hands coming up to thread around Clark’s back and into his hair, tugging lightly, “it’s only been two hours longer than usual.”
“I know,” he replied, leaving a lingering kiss to the pulse point he could feel fluttering beneath his lips. Then with great self-discipline he pulled away and pecked Bruce on the lips like the other man had been wanting him to. “But you leave for patrol in an hour and I’ll have to wait here by myself again.”
