Summary
Haarlep drew a steadying breath before placing the parchment before the cambion. It was not as impressive of a contract as the cambion was used to dealing with, only possessing three conditions:
1. The cambion son of Mephistopheles known as Raphael will not send his bound concubus, referred to heretofore as “Haarlep,” away from the House of Hope in Avernus.
2. The cambion son of Mephistopheles known as Raphael will do no harm to the concubus Haarlep.
3. The cambion son of Mephistopheles known as Raphael will not kill the concubus Haarlep.
Raphael dropped the parchment as if it had burned him. “Haarlep.” The name echoed through the boudoir. “What have you done?”
