Were they scared of money?
Cass must have seen Mary grumping in the superhero aisle because the next thing she knew, Cass was standing next to her in a completely ridiculous novelty fishing rod hat with a sprig of mistletoe hanging on the hook. Mary couldn’t help but giggle. “Expecting a kiss?” Cass only twiddled her thumbs nonchalantly. Adorable.

Damian screamed when he first saw it, what looked to him like a tall, spiky, green monster in the middle of his room. It was ugly; definitely not the kind of thing someone stopped to examine first. Tim had only just managed to rush into his room in time to see him attack it."What are you doing?" Tim asked, a little confused and mostly just dreading what Alfred would do when he found out Damian had ruined all his hard work as he watched him latch onto the tree and shake it, stabbing it with a knife.
"Killing it!" Damian shouted, as his knife hit one of the stands of lights and sent a jolt of electricity through the boy as the lights went out. He clung to the tree as he fell to the floor on his back, his clothes smoking slightly as he coughed. "I win."
"Win what?" Tim questioned, pushing the tree off him and helping him up from the floor. "A ticket to Alfred's very own naughty list?"
