But they still have to move so they don't deplete hunting grounds too quickly. One such place is San Francisco. At the Redwoods, the Cullens encounter something they weren't expecting. Hundreds of intelligent apes led by an alpha called Caesar. How will the course of history alter with these two worlds mixing into one?

My father once said I had wolf-like eyes. He believed I could see into someone's soul, and that I had both fierceness and loyalty, even though I didn't fully understand what he meant.
Each side has continuously employed, exploited, and annihilated the other...the cycle of animosity endures through successive generations...we are too consumed to enact transformation...in the past, I held a naive belief...I thought change was possible...thus, would you be open to listening to my account?...his story?
The actions taken by Koba resulted in the escalation of armed conflict and the subsequent deployment of soldiers. On both sides, civil wars emerge and result in a realignment of loyalties. I didn't aspire to be part of it. The emergence of monsters within us is a consequence of hatred and fear, surpassing the contagiousness of any virus, ultimately leading to a self-destructive epidemic that engulfs us entirely. Koba lingered….in multiple aspects. Deep inside, I knew I couldn't avoid him forever. He was my brother….

Despite this, Koba, one of Caesar’s most trusted and loyal lieutenants, an unpredictable and humanity-hating bonobo, becomes curious about Madi, and decides to join Caesar in discovering what knowledge a human woman could teach them.

After the events in "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes", Noa walks away from his new village, which is still currently under construction by the apes, as he takes a breather in the open fields during the evening. He then quickly fell asleep as he began to dream. These are no ordinary dreams he is having but visions from a certainly important past that happened when Caesar dominated the world with his people.
A voice wakes him up as he is visited by the spirit of Caesar in the night sky, who tells Noa that he must take his place as leader of the apes.
