Summary
As he sat trying to find where his sheet of newspaper had gone, Rolan could almost feel something shift in the room he was in, a suspicious disturbance in the stillness that he had been basking in. He paused, let his hands still over the top of the papers, and let out a small string of clicks from deep within his chest. The vocalization seemed to fill his entire core, a tingling feeling spreading from the center of his chest to his fingers.
Someone had walked into the room.
Another string of curious clicks.
Rand.
“Oh piss off with that,” Rand grumbled.
