Why the hell did Red Hood have him hostage? Why wasn’t his Father doing something? They seemed to be talking, although with Red Hood’s shaking fist, making sharp gestures with the gun, and with the slight glowing (green?) coming from his helmet's eye spots, he seemed furious.
Damian decided to jump down to a closer rooftop to get a better look, but that’s when he saw it. The moment that Red Hood had moved his gun to face Father, redirecting his aim to him, he fired once at the Bat. Batman threw a batarang. It ricocheted off the pipe, perfectly cutting between Red Hood’s small sliver of skin right above his jacket collar and directly beneath his helmet, and it slashed across his neck.
Or What if Damian was there as Robin when Jason had gotten his horrible injury from Batman in Under the Red Hood?

Summary
Following Bruce's return from being lost in the time stream, Damian steps back into his role as Flamebird, and tries to pretend for Dick's sake that he isn't arguing with his father. They'll be fine eventually - they always are. He needs to focus on Bludhaven. Crime has skyrocketed in Flamebird's absence, the new police commissioner is in bed with the mob, and there's word of a new alliance forming between two criminal empires that needs to be stopped. Tim's boyfriend comes back from the dead, and all he wants is to keep him *safe.* But everyone seems to think he's insane for doing this.
Danny just wants to study aerospace engineering someplace he's unlikely to get kidnapped and dissected (again). But when he overhears a certain vigilante nearly in tears while on the phone with some guy who sounds like a dick...well, he can't keep his nose out of it. Now that the Joker's gone to ground, Birdie's faced with the unpleasant task of healing from the torture they sustained in New York City. Not only that, but they're faced with the prospect of finding a way to move past the fact that Bruce thinks that they're a rogue waiting to happen. Further complicating matters is the fact that they're moved back to Gotham, they can't seem to find a way to talk to Damian without fighting, and everything else seems to be going wrong in their life. All they can do is take things a day at a time, and fight to find a way to get better.
