“I’ll pass that to admin, and they’ll sort out your pay check. Welcome to the team,” Aizawa added, a hint of a smile lifting the corner of his mouth. Katsuki bristled, stomping past his advisor as he threw open the doors they had entered through.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” he grumbled, thundering down the stairs. Aizawa followed at a more leisurely pace, footsteps echoing through the stairwell as Katsuki reached the bottom of the last flight. His heart raced in his chest, adrenaline pumping through his veins as he took a moment to let the news sink in.
I did it. I’m finally a mermaid rehab worker.
