Charlie sat down on the carpeted floor next to Sarah and hugged her waist with one arm. "What are you girls doing here?"
"We're creating a mural," replied Sarah.
Charlie leaned slightly back to get a better perspective of the work in progress. "I imagine you didn't choose charcoal?" he asked, chuckling.

Summary
Charlie and Sarah were upstairs, painting the room next to their bedroom, which was going to be used as an office space. Rex had spent the morning with them, before retiring to his playroom to play with his wide collection of plushies. Sarah had her hair in a ponytail, painting alongside Charlie. She was humming, moving her brush up and down on the smooth surface of the wall. Good riddance to the old dull, uninspiring color. She noticed Charlie had stopped painting to look at her. She smiled.
"Is it lunchtime for you already?" she teased him.
"I could stare at you all day," he said, smiling in that soft way that made her knees go weak. Charlie was leaning close to her. Instinctively, Sarah was leaning close to him as well.
