Summary
Midoriya Izuku isn't sure he's ready for the inevitable that's to come with being an adult, he may have grown up some but he fears he'll never be as ready as he feels everyone needs him to be. In an attempt to stave off the inevitable for just a little longer, Izuku accepts an offer to visit his estranged father living in America, hoping to catch his breath and garner some peace in the chaos of dawning adulthood. In the end, he will need to learn where love and regret play into his life, and how to properly handle his feelings of guilt.
Essentially this is an exploration into Izuku building up relationships while others are nearing the end. As well as not demonizing Hisashi? He obviously tried in some way to be supportive but it obviously did not work out. This is also going to be a very feely fic that nobody asked for.
