Summary
Troy Lougferd has spent his whole life trying--and failing--to live up to his father's expectations. But after falling into a hole into an underground world, he finally finds an opportunity to prove himself: the party finds a large quantity of wondrous coal, something Troy's father seeks. If he can return with the coal, maybe his father can finally be proud of him.
Only problem: he can't find the right time to take the wondrous coal. And he is still relying on Blink to get him out of Reclaim. And then Runt becomes more of a friend and teammate to him. And Blink becomes...something else. So admittedly, there are a lot of problems.
Troy begins to question everything he's known, and he must make a decision where he wants to stand and who he wants to be.
