Back when he’d been small, really small, everyone had loved to be gentle with him, be it his mom brushing out his hair or his brother praising him with a pat on the back. He had grown used to it, had learned to expect tenderness without having to earn it first.
The realisation that in the adult world, tenderness doesn’t come without its price had slammed Beomgyu onto the ground, six feet under where his pathetic teen romance expectations had been buried.
