He really didn't know what had come over him. The council was just being so damn annoying lately, pushing him to marry every eligible noble lady in the vicinity. Like any normal person, Arthur finally snapped. It all went downhill when he blurted out that Merlin was his husband in the middle of a council meeting. Summary
“My grandmother used to tell me a piece of advice,” Al-Haitham starts one day. Seated under the glow of the candlelight with a finger caught between the pages, he seemed contemplative. Rarely does he share about his grandmother nowadays, so Kaveh pauses. Listens.
“That you are never alone in your struggles, that one day,” Al-Haitham glances at Kaveh, “someone will come along and find you.”
A pause.
“And that in this month of July, roommates who sleep together are likely to experience a more peaceful sleep.”
“Your grandmother did not say that.”
Going back home to find, well, an empty home is not something you'd particularly enjoy the feeling of, but now Kaveh has to bear that same feeling for the course of a business trip, and let's say it's not working out well.

Summary
Having secured a generous contract with the Inquisition, bard Fidencio Frye makes the trek to Haven. Apart from some minor annoyances, as he settles in for tea with their lovely ambassador, he thinks things seem to be going pretty well.
Until he finds himself face-to-face with the Herald of Andraste, and is forced to confront the consequences of faking his death and absconding to Orlais a decade ago--in the form of the beloved cousin he left behind.
Andraste, it seems, has a wicked sense of humor.
