Inspired by Kat Deliverusfromsburb saying "I could believe Minkowski and Lovelace kissed once between Pan-Pan and Securite and then never talked about it" in a Discord chat, an idea that promptly sent me into a gay fugue state and when I woke up, I had written nearly 6k words about it.

Whumptober prompt-turned Big Bang submission-turned multi-chapter fic, actually? Lovelace recovers from her shrapnel wound while the Hephaestus begins to fall apart around her. Set right after season 2's finale, after her dead man’s switch leaves Eiffel lost at sea and the rest of the crew stranded, leaving her with her growing paranoia about her own inexplicable reappearance and what might've been done - or is still being done - to her.
