Summary
Verdict’s out: Nijika found Ryo annoying, and for good reasons.
They were too different. Nijika envied Ryo’s carefree nature, a simplicity she’d always longed for, It wasn’t Ryo’s fault that she didn’t have the same childhood Nijika.
But it doesn’t matter, in any angle Nijika sees it, as cool and talented Ryo is, they would never be friends.
It's not a year later, when irony hits the drummer like a truck, Ryo does become Nijika's bassist, worming her annoying 163-centimeters-self into Nijika's life, and to her dismay, into her heart.
