Summary
'Oh, Niki Lauda? He's just some little Austrian fellow with a creepy-crawly insect dæmon. If you've ever seen the man, I think you'd agree it's quite the fitting form.'
Niki could say a lot in response to that quote now fed back to him; that James' own dæmon is some puffed up, squawking budgerigar whose colours are clearly compensatory. 'Centipedes are myriapods,' is what he instead responds with, 'which are not considered part of the insect class.'
It's true; they're not. Nevertheless, it seems to win him no favours.
