Not like you know anything about that, yeah?” Schlatt’s slurring had become nearly incomprehensible at this point. Setting up everything might’ve been a waste of time considering how out of it he was, but Michael was nothing if not stubborn.
Those shitty tabloids were content with writing the same five stories over and over again for the public to eat up. But Michael had something they didn’t. Personal experience. He’d known Schlatt since their SMPLive days, and while he didn’t like to mix his business with his personal life, Michael wasn’t opposed to using that to get to the bottom of things.
There was a story to tell here. Besides, he was curious on exactly why his friend had turned to politics of all things.

The footsteps came to an abrupt halt, and there it was—the intruder standing right in front of him. Tommy's eyes widened in shock. “Wait, Techno?”
His brother's gaze burned into him with an intensity that sent chills down Tommy's spine. Tommy was used to Technoblade's eyes being usually unsettling—brown and devoid of emotion—but now they were far worse. The once warm brown irises were now bloodshot and wide, filled with a manic fury. His crazed eyes locked onto Tommy, watching him like a predator eyeing its prey. Tommy gulped once again, “Um, Tech is… Everything alright? Where’s Wilson? Did he go to the Village again?”
Technoblade remained silent, his gaze piercing into Tommy's eyes. Tommy noticed his brother's hands were trembling, his knuckles white from how tightly he clenched his fists. It was as if he was holding himself back, struggling to restrain something.
Or Techno gained the voices in his head, unfortunately his brother Tommy was there with him.

Theo finally raised his head slightly, the frowning mask did nothing to hide the begrudging embarrassment in his voice. "I didn't jump out the window this time... I used the door."
The ex-god beamed, "Really? That's progress! Now the next step is actually staying for the whole session!"
Thunk, groan.
He reached over and patted his shoulder, "There, there. You'll get through it."
