The Advent Calendar fic for 2025 (ie a chapter will be published each day Nov 30th to Dec24th.) Vaguely inspired by my previous year's Advent fic series.
Loose chapter structure (you may skip some without much loss if you want to). A mix of emotions: some cozy, some angst, some humor, some grief. The emotions gets more intense near the end. Many PoVs. Its print was black-and-white, but she could see enough to know that the resemblance was there. The girl had short hair, cut above her shoulders, a slight wave to it, and if Natasha had to guess, it would burn a vibrant red. The girl’s expression was somber, her eyes downcast, cheeks hollow, colourless. She had that look to her, as though she hadn’t smiled a day in her life.
In some ways, it remind Natasha of her own youth. "This is her?" She asked, not looking up from the file, though she knew the answer that she would receive.
Her fingers traced over the name printed in black ink at the centre of the folder: Romanov, Ellia.
Peter’s confusion was evident when he spoke. "Yeah, that’s Ellia. But, Misses Black Widow, I really don’t understand-"

But it doesn’t hurt the way it used to. I’m not scared anymore. Because even if I meet another one hundred thousand people, even if I forget all of them too, none of them matter.
Not as long as you’re my one in one hundred thousand. Not as long as I wake up in your arms, as long as I remember your voice, your warmth, your smile.
Sometimes I think it might all happen again. Seasons changing, my mind getting erased, stars in my sky fading one by one. Again. Over and over.
