At that response, Infinite punches him hard in the jaw, then forcefully grabs his cheeks with his hand, and forces him to look at him.
"No, you won't." He says in a calm, but threatening tone of voice. "I'll be the one to finish you off. I won't kill you, if that's what you're thinking, but that doesn't mean I can destroy you in other ways. You're going to suffer, Shadow the Hedgehog."
OR: An AU Sonic Forces where Shadow is also captured by Infinite (before the events of Forces), and he does horrible things to him during his confinement.

On the other hand, there’s the sheer indignity of spandex, a succession of increasingly terrible monikers, and the fact that he keeps making a fool of himself in front of the love of his life, who, for some reason, seems to keep getting kidnapped.
