Summary
The world was saved (for the third time) and everything is somewhat normal again. When Monkey King is invited to an anniversary party between his and MK's first meeting, he starts experiencing awful headaches. He arrives home, trying to sleep off the pain, but is met with strange dreams and unfamiliar figures. When he wakes up, he's in an entirely different world, faced with a new problem on how to get back home.
Randy Cunningham is your ordinary high school freshman, adjusting to high school life and with an added bonus of being the ever-famous Ninja of Norrisville! Being the Ninja is hard, including fighting monsters and robots almost daily, but he seems to be having fun. On a seemingly normal day, he encounters a strange looking monster, not knowing what is truly in store for him.

The Jade Emperor decides that Wukong's punishment would be better served in heaven's servitude. And Wukong can't do anything to escape because the Emperor has control over the circlet.

Summary
Wukong and Macaque's relationship is one full of complexities. Trying to talk about their regrets and shared past feels impossible so maybe it would be easier not to say anything at all. Maybe it would be easier to show that they care instead of having to say it all out loud.
Alternatively, Wukong and Macaque comforting each other in silence.

Wukong finds him the next night. He’s resting on a thick branch, shrouded in darkness.
“You didn’t show up,” Wukong points out from the bottom of the tree, and there’s nothing behind it. For such a loaded sentence, he delivers it like a simple observation.
Macaque scoffs, and it wobbles. He looks down at the monkey. The black eye is still there. “Didn’t feel like it.” It’s not a lie, technically.
Wukong frowns. “I waited for hours. You could’ve sent a heads up.”
“Why the fuck is your eye not fixed?”

Wukong is trapped under to control of his cruel stepfather, forced to be a servant in their home, suffering abuse and torment at the hands of his father and adopted sister while having to care for his younger half sister.
He could try running away again, but that would mean leaving Zhenying alone with them, he couldn't do that to her.
And he wouldn't get far before someone returned him 'home'. Everyone knows who he belongs to.The neighboring kingdom announces a ball for Prince Liu'er Mihou to find a potential mate, a ball that sounds like a good, fun time for an overworked monkey like Wukong, whether or not he sees the prince.
Unknown to him, he's already met the prince, who's very interested with the monkey who reminds him of his childhood friend.When the prince announces a search for the owner of a golden sash, his stepfather hatches a plot to fool the prince, he's willing to do anything to keep Wukong under his control, even if it costs him his youngest child's life.

At the first chance he ran. Macaque wasn't about to be used by the Lady Bone Demon, but it wasn't really in his plan to run into MK and his group of friends. He didn't really have a choice to stay though his powers were on the fritz and his injuries were enough to slow him down. He would just have to deal with Wukong for awhile and the stupid emotions that were resurfacing as they find themselves on the same side again.

Now that Macaque's spirit and memories are healed, he and Wukong have agreed to try and make amends and try to rebuild their friendship. But that was never going to be an easy task. Luckily, their new friends are here to help. As long as both Wukong and Macaque are open to their help. And as long as they are able to learn how to listen to and help each other.
Aka - I'm putting Wukong and Macaque in therapy courtesy of Sandy. We're going to deal with their mutual traumas and hopefully give them a happy ending by the end of this.
