Jesse’s hopped up onto the truck bed by now, rummaging under the tarp he’d thrown over their bags before heading out. “Hm?” He looks down over the side of the truck. In the dark, Chazz can barely make out the jungle animal shapes on Jesse’s Rainforest Cafe shirt. “I mean, heck of a lot cheaper to just pull over though, ain’t it?” His voice rings with good humor, and for as baffled as Chazz is, he can’t find the drive to get mad at him.
