The simple berries shouldn't do anything besides clear up some facial hair and burn away some unearned strength...
Which leaves the pair wildly unprepared when Ranma's guy side starts to soften, looking more and more like the girl Jusenkyo cursed him to be. They'll have to navigate his changes and how to stop them together.
Especially since they end up kicked out of the dojo after it gets destroyed yet again, and get given orders to get their lives in order before they can move back.
