Summary
Alicent had learnt years ago how to not be in her body, how not to be on the same plain as other beings. Sometimes she was just a spectator to her body and what was being done to it, how it was being used. Other times it gave her a sense of clarity, a knowing of how everyone was reacting, truly reacting, not just the reactions on their faces or the twitching of their bodies. She could smell the fear, she could see the tightness at the corners of their eyes, hear the hitches in their breathes. Perhaps this curse or blessing is how she damned herself and her children or saved them.
